One of the most Humbling events we participate in is the Wreaths Across America. The Blue Star Mothers of Coastal Carolina is a Registered Sponsorship Group with Wreaths. We work hard throughout the year to sell enough wreaths for every one of the almost 16 thousand graves at the Florence National Cemetery in Florence, SC.

It is so important that we never forget those who fought to protect our freedoms. We stand at each grave and speak the name on the headstone, then we gently place a wreath and smooth out the ribbon and thank them for their service. This year 2026 the theme is “Remember Me” and the event will be held on Saturday December 19th at noon EST across the world.
