Our second annual Bowl 4 Boxes took place on Saturday July 25th. Maybe it was the rain, maybe it was all the publicity, or maybe it’s because the community cares, anyways, we filled every lane! AMAZING!! We exceeded last year’s totals by and raised $ 6,159.90.

Visit from a Hero

We were surprised by a young local Marine, Camdyn Ross. While deployed on the USS Iwo Jima he was a recipient of our Hero Boxes. Meeting. Camdyn came to bowl and thank us for the boxes!

In addition to bowling and raffle ticket sales, we collected more than 20 totes. Lisa and Maria shuttled totes back to storage and brought empty ones to fill. Everyone filled in selling tickets, selling raffle tickets, walking around telling people about our programs and sending them to buy tickets and sending people to line Dance. Big applause for Gina Davis the Line Dancing Queen. She is amazing. She brought a big crowd and lots of donations.

EASY Radio set up and posted several clips and gave away Pelicans Tickets. Our DJ Scott was wonderful as always. Tearhsa was our Door Prize caller, Audrey’s Raffle Baskets were AMAZING, and brought in a bunch of money. Sharon and Tammy were our money ladies and kept everything separate so we know exactly where the money came from. EVERYONE who helped THANK YOU! I was a little crazy, as normal. My feet and back were sore and my legs cramped up last night but it was worth it!
